59th Annual CMA Awards Nominees Have Arrived

There is always anticipation, year after year, for the Country Music Association's (CMA) Awards nominations. This year was no exception with some repeats from previous years, yet some new deserving faces and names.
The Ladies seem to have emerged on top. Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson share Top honors with six nominations each. Do not rule the Gentlemen out. Their Top nominees include, Zach Top with Five, Riley Green and Cody Johnson with four and Kristian Bush, Carson Chamberlain, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen with three each.
In the running for the HIGHEST Honor, CMA Entertainer of the Year, is Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapelton, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.
First time CMA Awards nominees include, Johnny Clawson, Jon Decious, Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Dorr, Alexandra Gavillet, Lalo Guzman, Jimmy Harnen, Brandon Lake, Micah Nicols, John Park, Aaron Raitiere, Matt Rovey, Kyle Sturrock, Wales Toney, Tucker Wetmore and Stephen Wilson Jr.

The CMA Awards not only recognize the artists, but songwriters, producers, directores, mix engineers and many different categories of your local radio stations. If you are not familiar with some of the nominees, you can do a internet search to check them out. And once you review the list of nomiations, it may become clearer.
First held in 1967, the CMA Awards is the longest running, annual music awards show program on network television. Winners and nominees are determind to CMA's Professional voting membership, reflecting the voices of their peers across the industry.

I have my favorites who I am rooting for, but will hold on to those cheers until it all unfolds. Yes, there will be some disappointments, but there may also be some surprises and great joy in the winning announcements. So get ready to enjoy an eventful night.
