Aaron Lewis Tops Chart With New Album 'Give My Country Back'

The name Aaron Lewis is covered as a hit and miss with Country music. However, his fans have never wavered and he definitely has no miss with his latest albim, 'Give My Country Back.'
On iTunes, the multi-platinum artist, currently has the best-selling country album in America, holding the No.1 spot on the Country Albums Chart. The album also climbed to No.6 on the iTunes All Genres Album Chart.
'Give My Country Back' delivers the unapologetic honesty and hard earned perspective that have become Aaron's trademark. Across ten track, the album explores themes of accountability, resilence, faith, patriotism and personal growth while pairing gritty throwback country textures and adding his unmistakable vocal intensity making it into a strong album.
"This is the perfect record for where I'm at right now, Aaron explains. "As you get older, you start realizing your time is coming to a close. I wasn't living as cleanly as possible, so I quit drinking,and smoking cigarettes. I'm on a healthier routine, and I want to get better before I can't. My music is my life. Every one of these song that you listen to will have you probably knowing me better than I know myself."
Aaron co-wrote five songs on the album alongside longtime collaborators, Jeffrey Steele and Bobby Pinson, while additional contributions from Casey Bethard, Travis Meadows and others helped shape the albums fiery spirit. At the young age of 54, this new album reflects a season of change and renewed focus in his life, both personally and creatively.
