David Nail Brings Out A New Tour With A New View

As fans, we get used to the regular style of conerts, but now and again we relish in a new scenario that allows an artist to showcase a different side of their talent. Enter singer/songwriter David Nail who has announced his "Down To The Studs Tour."

David's journey from Kennett, Missouri to Nashville has been told and retold on a music industry machine wash cycle. He can be a complicated human, like so many, but he is no longer afraid of that word - complicated. So he is flipping his career on its head, doing something with this tour, few have done before in the modern music world.

"In what has been the most challending year of my career, both personally and professionally, it became clearer, nad clearer, as I got closer to the end of 2025, that if I were going to continue in 2026, I had to clean the slate so to speak, and start fresh. What better way to do that, than to start over. This dream began with me, a guitar, and the songs. Just me, as raw, and real as the music can be. No band to hide behind, or to carry me each night. It's just me, and I'm as excited as I've been in a decade..." David explained.

The shows on his 2026 tour will be more intimate than any he's ever played, he'll meet honest music lovers, share with them, laugh, cry, truly experience real true human moments in a world cluttered by manipulation. And I have watched his actions about this tour on social media, the excitement is over the top.

David is well respected up and down Music Row. He has worked hard on his own terms to build his career and a solid fan base. I will proudly say I am part of that fan base who has been there since "Red Light" and having the opportunity to see him for the first time in California when he was just starting out. Not many at that time knew who he was, yet once he started his set, they stayed in their seats to take it all in. I have taken every opportunity to see him many times after.
