Without the songwriter, there are no songs, there are no concerts, websites, blogs etc. This class of guys and gals often go unmentioned and the life is not all glory and big pay offs. Over the years I have met many who are singer/songwriters and the honor has been mine.
One would not normally think of finding a songwriters round in Las Vegas, but every Friday night at Mandalay Bay that is just what you see. Coming up on the two year anniversary at Mandalay Bay gave me an opportunity to celebrate with the host, Aaron Benward, learning from him a type of behind the scenes look at the life of a songwriter. Sit back, relax and appreciate what I call a different genre in music.
