Still looking for that perfect Christmas gift for a true country fan? I believe King George Strait could be "just the ticket." With three years of sold out shows at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the superstar known worldwide as The King of Country, is set to expand his “Strait to Vegas” shows into 2020. George Strait added two shows at T-Mobile Arena on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 and Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020.
To add to his 2020 select schedule, George also announced his return to the heartland via performances at INTRUST Bank Arena on Friday, Jan. 24 for Visit Wichita Presents Strait to Oz and in Kansas City for Strait to the Heartland at Sprint Center on Saturday, Jan. 25 and Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020.
The Country Music Hall of Fame member also released 2019’s best-selling Country album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, on MCA Nashville March 29. Produced by Strait and Chuck Ainlay, the album quickly became Strait’s record-extending 27th No. 1 Billboard Country album. Comprised of 12 original titles plus Strait’s version of the Johnny Paycheck classic “Old Violin,” Honky Tonk Time Machine marks an incredible 30th career studio album for Strait.
