I have often written about Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter, David Nail, yet it never gets old, due to the fact that he never ceases to amaze with his talent.

After building a respected career in Nashville with albums including, I'm About To Come Alive, The Sound of a Million Dreams, I'm A Fire, and Fighter, he stepped into a more independent chapter that prioritized honesty over expectation. David continues that evolution with his lastest release, "The Crown."

The latest release is inspired by a true small-town story from his hometown of Kennett, Missouri and was written with, Anderson East. David has one of THE MOST purest voices in the genre, that resonates though all his hits, so to add "The Crown" to this resume is well earned and deserved.

"There's so much I could say about this song. It was the first song that Anderson and I wrote, and so it was the very beginnings of what became an entire project," said David, adding, "I didn't really have anything walking into the write that day. Nothing but a story about a conversation I'd had recently with a former high school classmate about another former classmate and friend of ours. A few hours later, 'The Crown' was born! I've never avoided personal subjects or stories about my life, but this was a different experience, and one I struggled with. Sad and true stories are never fun to write, so I really wanted this to have an endearing and hopeful aspect to it. I think we achieved that as honestly as possible."

This song moved me and was relatable in many ways. We can get lost at times on our paths in life, yet those who truly care can still see our "Crown" and believe in us. It teaches us to be there for those we care about and not judge so rapidly. David has a way of bringing out emotions in some of his songs and it is easy to take them all in.

In support of the new music, David is currently on his intimate "Down To The Studs Tour." The tour presents these song, along with his hits, in their purest form is key to his creative vision in 2026. The solo acoustic run has him visiting small-capacity venues across the country, offering a stripped-down experience, just his guitar, the stories behind the songs and his unique unmistakable voice.

I guarantee fans can attest to his talent, which brings out emotions and fun in many of his songs. So I am sure, if in their areas, they will do all they can to catch the "Down To The Studs Tour." To find out more and all the tour dates go to: https://davidnail.com
